Canadian
Divine Mercy Centre and Apostolate
March 2005 Dear friend, supporter and apostle of Divine Mercy:
Some of you have been with us from the very beginning in 1993; others
are just starting with the promotion of the Divine Mercy message. As you may or may not know, we have manifold
tasks here at the Canadian Centre. The
Canadian Divine Mercy Apostolate is responsible for the guest house/retreat
facility, speaking engagements throughout the country, information flow to
priests and religious, counseling of troubled souls, family counseling and
spiritual direction. The Distribution
Centre, well-stocked with Divine Mercy materials for your convenience, looks
after your orders, invoicing and shipping.
The
duties have been many and the labourers have been few, here in the vineyard of
HIS DIVINE MERCY. But if we hope, pray
and trust, the Lord of Mercy will always come through for us – and so it
was! By His grace and mercy, we are
now in the position to split the two main arms of the Centre, so that you can
have even better service. The
Canadian Divine Mercy Distribution Centre will be run by Katherine Brockman;
she and her family are living on the one acre property across the pond from the
Divine Mercy guest house. This past
summer, Katherine followed the call of the Lord and has spent the last several
months getting things in place so that she can serve you, our valued
customers. In the future, she hopes to
extend inventory to include books and materials for all Christian denominations
on the subject of the mercy of God. As
you know, Our Lord told Saint Faustina to make His Divine Mercy known to “all
of mankind.” To order Divine

Beginning April 1st, Katherine will have a new and exciting
web-site, so that you can make on-line purchases, any time of the day, with no
time zone restrictions. Due to rising
operating costs, there will be some price increases, so please check with the
order desk before sending payments by mail.
You are invited to take advantage of the specials advertised in the
enclosed flyer until April 29th and the on-line specials that will
be featured in the near future. We hope
and pray that you will continue to support the Divine Mercy Distribution Centre
by purchasing your Divine Mercy materials here in Canada by mail, phone, fax or
on-line. The
Canadian Divine Mercy Apostolate will also be adding a new component to its
duties. In April, Linda Laperle, a
long-time Divine Mercy supporter, will join us here to spearhead the new “Ocean
of Mercy Pilgrimages” office. Linda
will organize Divine Mercy Pilgrimages overseas, as well as to shrines within
Canada and the United States. All
pilgrimages will have a priest as spiritual guide. Our future plans also include expanding the retreat facility so
that we can accommodate larger groups in the not-too-distant future.
Another important point to mention is the financial support you provide
through your generous donations; they enable us not only to survive, but also
to grow so that we can serve even more of our brothers and sisters in
need. As soon as the Reverend Fathers
are residing here, we will notify you.
At that time, we will also be in the position to issue tax receipts for
your donations. May
our work be a truly fruitful adventure with the Lord of Mercy! |
